Our Story
WHO ARE WE?
Established in the UK in 1994, Leadbitter Glass has grown from a husband and wife start-up, run from their own home supplying local trade companies, to a recognised industry leader, sought out by clients around the world to create stunning bespoke panels for their homes. This growth has unsurprisingly meant the business couldn’t stay at home, over the years as we’ve expanded, we’ve rented larger premises, took on staff, and now own our own dedicated decorative glass studio outright. We don’t try to hide our humble beginnings because we’re proud of them, the journey has made us what we are today.
The majority of our customers always have been and always will be homeowners, but we’ve also sold to businesses, movie studios, Prime Ministers, billionaires and Rolling Stones from time to time. A personal favourite of ours is an order from Paddington Bear, who approached us (okay… maybe the production studio approached us) to produce the iconic 32 Windsor Gardens front door glass for the first and second movies.
WHAT DO WE DO?
We manufacture and supply bespoke Etched and Fused glass worldwide with an emphasis on quality and attention to detail. Our glass artists have the highest standards and take personal pride in every panel they create.
Because every panel we make is bespoke, ensuring our clients get the perfect glass is very important to us. That’s why whether requested or not, we produce high quality proofs of every panel ordered for the customer to approve before we begin production. This gives customers a chance to request changes if anything isn’t quite right or if they change their mind about anything. This way, on delivery day, they can be confident that the glass arriving will be everything they were hoping for.
