The Leadbitter Glass Studio designs, manufactures and delivers bespoke decorative glass panels for doors and windows to homes all over the UK. You can browse what is probably the largest decorative glass gallery on the internet or supply your own design by way of a photograph or even your own sketch. Once a design is agreed you will get to see a computer generated scale proof of your window or door glass before it is actually manufactured. Only when you are 100% happy with your design, the finished glass panels will be delivered to your door within just one or two weeks.

Our vast decorative glass gallery contains hundreds of designs to choose from and despite this, the majority of our orders tend to be original designs supplied by the customer or reproductions created from the customers own photographs.

Every glass panel we create is designed and created using your exact glass sizes so in effect every piece of glass we create is bespoke and this is why we do not charge a premium for custom made glass designs. There is no such thing as an off the shelf design.

Leadbitter Glass can create bespoke decorative glass panels from your own drawings or even photos. Family members, pets or even homes can be immortalised in a beautiful glass panel.

We can create personalised single glazed or double glazed glass panels for your door or feature window in Leaded Glass or Etched Glass depicting your favourite animal, sport or even a country scene. Our glass artists have at least 15 years experience drawing and designing bespoke glass designs and have produced original works of art for projects around the UK since 1994.

Etched Glass!

Etched glass is one of the oldest forms of decorative glass and one of the most beautiful products to decorate doorways and landing windows.

Etched or Sandblasted glass (as it is also known) is one of the most popular requests we receive and as with all of the glass we create, any design can be incorporated into almost any glass size. We can create etched glass panels in single glazed form or double glazed sealed units.

When single glazed glass panels are ordered with us, we protect the etched areas of the design with our Sandblast Protection at no extra cost. Some other glass companies like to charge extra for this product but it is included in the price with Leadbitter Glass.

Charles Rennie Mackintosh Gallery

We have a new section in our Gallery dedicated to glass designs inspired by works of the late Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Mackintosh designs have always been very popular with decorative glass buyers and as a studio, we get dozens of requests a year for Mackintosh themed glass panels. Featured in our new Mackintosh area is our interpretation of the famous 'Willow Tea Rooms' door designed by Mackintosh in the early 20th century.

As always, it doesn't matter what size and style of door or window you have because every piece of glass we create is manufactured from scratch so there is no such thing as a 'stock item' when ordering with us. This means that whatever pattern or glass design you love, it can probably be used to create your perfect glass door or window.

Another very popular request we receive is for leaded glass for front doors and landing windows. Leaded and coloured glass is not just an old fashioned style of decorative glass, it can also be used to create stunning contemporary feature windows and door entryways.

By combining different colours with textures and the popular Minster glass enables us to create stunning glass panels that look amazing and still give the desired level of privacy for your new feature window or door glass. Our leaded glass can come in many different finishes with more than 6 different leads available to choose from.

Bevelled glass is ideal for front doors and we have dozens of popular designs featuring bevelled glass in our online gallery.
