George & Dragon Leaded Glass Window

george and dragon feature windowThis decorative glass George & Dragon window was created for one of our clients in 2003 and it was manufactured by using natural lead with the glass being totally covered in our stained glass film overlay. This actual window was created using our transparent overlay stained glass colours so it still lets a lot of the natural light enter the home. If you look closely you can see the roof of the next door neighbours bungalow around the red and white shield area of the design and this just shows you how transparent these colours really are.

The client had seen an old window design that we had created ten years earlier but didn't like the design 100% so they asked us to create a similar decorative glass window for them with a few alterations. Our studio altered the glass design to suit their specific tastes by adding the George cross shield at the top of the window along with the large tree to the left. We then created a computer generated image for the client and uploaded it to this website for their approval.

As with all of the jobs created by the Leadbitter Glass studio, we can provide you with a computer generated image of exactly how your chosen glass design will look at no extra charge. This service is offered free to all of our customers once an order is placed.

Here we have a large scale photo of the window once it had been installed
