Mr
& Mrs Dowling contacted the Leadbitter Decorative Glass
Studio in 2010 enquiring about a bespoke glass panel
for above their bathroom door. The clients wanted to
have the text " The Powder Room " etching into the glass
and they
also
wanted some extra decoration and the glass also had to
have a bevelled edge around the outside of the panel.
We took exact sizes from the customers and set about
creating a couple of design options for their panel using
a traditional style and a more modern style of etching. View

B was chosen as the preferred design and we began creating
the decorative glass piece.
This etched glass panel was required for an internal
door frame so only a single glazed panel was required.
The client requested that we protected
the etched areas of the
glass
with
our Sandblast
Protection. This great product helps keep dirt
and fingerprints from damaging the appearance of the
feature
glass panels and adds only a small cost to the overall
price of the etched glass.
