Bevelled Glass
Bevelled
Glass supplier to the Birmingham area
We design, manufacture and deliver bevelled glass to Birmingham
and the surrounding areas. Our bevelled glass is small pieces
of hand shaped glass which are bonded to the glass
to create
various
designs
and patterns.
There
are
hundreds
of patterns to choose from and with the standard diamonds,
squares, rectangles and tear drops, the limitations are
endless.
We have created many beveled glass windows and doors in the
Birmingham area since we started way back in 1994. For larger
projects in the Birmingham area we can visit you to discuss your
aims and ideas for your project through our Executive
Service.
We can also design glass, manufacture the glass and deliver
the glass to the Birmingham area by using our Client
Pages service
to help keep the costs down.
Bevelled glass is our most popular form of decorative
glass in Birmingham today and around 80% of our orders are
for bevelled glass
designs. The bevelled glass designs can be combined with
stained glass overlay borders and centres to create stunning
doors
and windows for your Birmingham home or business.
Leadbitter Glass has created many custom bevelled designs
for large new build homes in Birmingham through the years which
have become
the the centre piece of the home. Combining Gluechip bevels
with a Gluechip background overlay produces a beautiful
effect
that lasts.
What are the benefits of todays beveled glass?
Although the manufacturing technique has changed
over the years, the materials have stayed basically the same.
As explained above, beveled glass is created using hand made
beveled glass clusters assembled together onto one piece of
glass (usually toughened glass) to create a beautiful design.
The modern procedure has many advantages over the original
bevelled glass technique. Again energy saving is a big concern
in todays world and with the bevelled glass design being manufactured
onto a single sheet of glass, this reduces the possibility
of the cold weather coming into the home through the joints
of the design.
Durability and security are another advantage with this bevelled
glass technique. Assembling the beveled glass clusters onto
toughened glass provides long lasting and secure decorative
glass. Some bevelled glass clusters can be ordered in bronze,
blue or green coloured glass. All bevels can be ordered in
clear glass. Below is just a little idea of what Leadbitter
Glass can create for your Birmingham home or business with our
bevelled glass techniques...
