Mr Thomas
Hello
Mr Thomas, we have created the design to the front of one
panel so far and I feel that we need to not add the thick
outer lead strip that travels around the perimeter of the
glass. The reason for this is the way we make sealed units
in the UK. We must leave enough space around the edge for
the spacer bar and glue, along with a small gap for expansion
over time. If we add a strip to the outside of the sealed
unit, but not to the inside, you will be able to see the back
of the lead which is silver/grey and not antique. I have changed
the below image to show how it will now look around the outside.
Some of the outer area of the glass will be hidden inside
of your door frame.
